Martin Grelle, "West Texas Cow Hunter"A beautiful day to be out horseback, like this cowboy, whether it’s hunting cows, or just enjoying God’s handiwork. Sometimes, it’s just best to sit still for awhile, stop, and count your blessings.   #lovewesternart   #HappySunday  #CountYourBlessings

Martin Grelle, "Tribute"“Tribute” by Martin Grelle says it all, as we honor those who have given their life while serving this country. I hope everyone stops and takes some time this weekend to focus on them, and pay tribute to them, and their families, for their sacrifice.

Martin Grelle, "Workin' on the Sixes"How many of you would like to trade places with these cowboys, at least for a day or two? I know it’s work, but it sure does a body a lot of good to be trailing some cows, riding a good-minded horse, and taking some deep breaths of clean air. Good, old-fashioned work with long hours in the saddle, and no traffic and stop lights to deal with!

“Workin’ on the Sixes” by Martin Grelle is a limited edition print, 20″H X 30″W, with a price tag of $150.

Happy Friday, everyone!

Martin Grelle, "West Texas Cow Hunter"Now THIS would make an awesome present for someone, don’t you think? I just picked this up from the framer yesterday, and thought it turned out great. The canvas size is 11″H X 14″W, so even with this frame, it’s not too big to fit about anywhere. This is an open edition giclee canvas, with a price of $70, plus the frame, which will be very reasonable (I picked it up early, so I don’t have the exact cost on it yet). Come see it in the booth next week at the World Championship Ranch Rodeo in Amarillo; I’ll be surprised if it lasts long!

Martin Grelle, "Autumn Respite"If you live in a place where there are enough trees to enjoy the changing colors of the leaves, then you’re probably catching yourself looking at them often this time of year, right? I caught myself doing that this past week, when I was traveling, and also saw some beautiful mountains in the background, which reminded me of this fall print by Martin Grelle.

Don’t you wonder what they’re talking about while they’re taking a little break? I think I generally prefer a quiet piece like this, wondering what’s going on, instead of a big wreck or a lot of action. How about you?

“Autumn Respite” is a limited edition print that measures 16″H X 24″W, with a price of $150.

Don’t forget to check out the Contests page, so you can take your shot at winning a free print.

Martin Grelle, "Ropin' a Wild One"It’s another beautiful day here in Las Cruces, a good day to be out ropin’! So how many of you are handy at roping something like this longhorn?

Martin Grelle’s “Ropin’ a Wild One” is available in several different sizes, limited or open edition, paper or canvas. I’ve got some of the open editions on paper, 10″H X 8″W, for $30. Give me a call or drop me an email at vickie@reatagallery.com if you’d like information on the other options. Or better yet, come see me at the Reata Gallery booth at the Lincoln County Cowboy Symposium in Ruidoso next week!

Martin Grelle, "West Texas Cow Hunter"I’m really looking forward to going to Amarillo next weekend for the America’s Horse in Art Show, and then my next trade show is September 6-7 at the National Cowboy Symposium in Lubbock. So it reminded me of this beautiful print by Martin Grelle, “West Texas Cow Hunter.” Can’t you just imagine all the things that cowboy is thinking about?

This print is available in open or limited edition, paper or canvas, and in different sizes. I’m thinking about the giclee canvas, open edition, signed, in a 14″H X 11″W; the price is only $95, and I bet I can find a great frame to finish it off. It would be easy to ship, too. If you’d like more details, send me an email at vickie@reatagallery.com, or call me at 575-649-0636.

Have a fantastic Friday, everyone!

Martin Grelle, "An American Icon"The National Cattlemen’s Beef Association is kicking off their annual convention in Tampa, Florida today; wish I could be there, but sometimes there are too many things on the calendar. There will be a lot of good cattlemen and cattlewomen gathered together for the next few days, and no one works harder to take care of the livestock than they do.

Martin Grelle did a fabulous job here with “An American Icon.” I’ve got some of these in an open edition on paper, 14″H X 11″W, for only $30. However, it’s also available as a giclee on canvas, open edition, 14″ X 11″, for $70; $95 if you would like it signed. If you prefer it signed and numbered, you can go with the 20″ X 20″ giclee on canvas for $750.

Martin Grelle, "Muddy Morning"Happy Sunday, everyone! It’s a muddy morning here in Scottsdale! But the rain is letting up and it’s another busy day at the Sun Circuit. Sure glad they don’t have that deep ol’ gumbo mud here, the kind that sticks to your boots and pulls you down deeper into the mud. Sometimes it can get so bad that it’ll pull your boots off! At least that was my experience long ago, when I was a kid in South Dakota.

Enjoy “Muddy Morning” by Martin Grelle, a limited edition print that measures 21″H X 28″W.  I believe this print is sold out, but I have a couple available; if you’re interested, send me an email at vickie@reatagallery.com or call me at 575-649-0636.
