RGT Reynolds, James, The Old WayIn today’s world, where people are more likely to jump on a 4-wheeler to go work cattle, it can be hard to even imagine “The Old Way” of doing things. Making sure that all of the harness is in good shape, and fitting properly, that each horse is fit and able to work, that the wagon is ready to roll, all requires a good eye and attention to detail, or a wreck may be in the works. And while this ground looks like it’s pretty level and easy to cross, you can bet there are more tricks to crossing it safely once you get out there and get started. Have any of you spent time working with teams? I know my Grandpa did, and I wish I could ask him about those days, because I know there were many good stories!

“The Old Way” by James Reynolds is a limited edition print, 17.5″H X 28″W. If you’re interested, email me at vickie@reatagallery.com, or call me at 575-649-0636.

Hope you have a fantastic Sunday!

James Reynolds, "The Quiet Place"Sometimes big gatherings are nice, but personally, I like a quiet place now and then, especially on Sundays, for a little reflection and special prayer time. How about you? Don’t you wonder what this cowboy is thinking about? So many things could be running through his mind.

“The Quiet Place” by James Reynolds is a limited edition print, 17.75″H X 23.75″W; it’s sold out by the publisher, but I’ve got a couple available.  If you’re interested, email me at vickie@reatagallery.com, or call me at 575-649-0636.    #lovewesternart     #HappySunday

James Reynolds, "The Legacy"Happy Father’s Day! I love looking at this print, and thinking about the father and son spending so much time together in the saddle. I think about that little boy following his Dad around everywhere, learning so much just from watching and listening.

Thank goodness they have “A Helpin’ Hand” but it looks like they could be in a heap of trouble even when they do get out of that mess. That bay horse is really struggling.

Please reach out to those around you with a kind word and a handshake or hug.
