Tim Cox, "In the Bronc Corral"I remember these days well! When Reata was a long yearling, we put him in a round pen very similar to this, and started some easy work with him. He was very big and stout for his age, so there was some concern about how strong he could buck. But he never did offer to buck. Until he was a 5-year-old, in the cutting pen, when he was too fresh and a cow made a big move across the pen. He was feeling really good, but even then he BARELY crow-hopped. It certainly wasn’t much of a buck because I was laughing the whole time, and I DON’T ride broncs!

“In the Bronc Corral” by Tim Cox is a limited edition print that measures 17.5″H X 24″W. It’s sold out by the publisher but I’ve still got a couple available. Send me an email at vickie@reatagallery.com, or call me at 575-649-0636 if you’re interested.    ‪#‎lovewesternart‬
