Barbara East, "Flower Nippers"“April showers bring May flowers.” And then they get nipped off by these Herefords!

“Flower Nippers” by Barbara East is a limited edition print that measures 11″H X 17″W. A beautiful, old-timey looking print with soft colors and those Hereford cattle that work so well in the tough range conditions.

Bill Owen, "Day Herding"For the Hereford lovers out there, here’s a special print by Bill Owen! “Day Herding” won a Silver award for Bill at the 1981 Cowboy Artists of America Show. The size of this print is 15.75″H X 19.5″W, and there were only 100 prints in this limited edition. Fred Fellows, "Working the 06 Range"I believe these cowboys will be a little dirty by the time they get done! Not a lick of green grass around there anywhere; unfortunately, it probably looks like a familiar sight to many of you who are needing some good rains. Looks like some of the cowboys are hopeful, though, since they’ve got their slickers tied on to their saddles.

“Working the 06 Range” by Fred Fellows is a limited edition print that measures 18.5″H X 33″W. Send me an email at vickie@reatagallery.com if you’re interested; I only have one of these prints left.

Wayne Baize, "Country Girl"OK, here’s another one for all those fans of Wayne Baize and Hereford cattle. And you can sure tell this is a “Country Girl,” because she’s not a bit scared of that cow right in front of her. Does this remind you of anyone?

“Country Girl” by Wayne Baize is one of his older limited edition prints. The size is 9″H X 12″W. The edition is sold out, but I’ve gone one available, at $100.

Wayne Baize, "A Royal Breed"I know there are a lot of fans of Wayne Baize out there, especially regarding his Hereford artwork. Sure a cute baby, isn’t it? This is one of his older, sold-out pieces, “A Royal Breed,” a limited edition print that measures 16.5″H X 21″W.  If you’re interested, send me an email at vickie@reatagallery.com, or give me a call at 575-649-0636.

Chris Owen, "Back to Your Momma"Back to work today, and “Back to Your Momma.” A rancher’s work is never done, especially during calving time, getting those little babies off to a good, strong start.

This is another new limited edition print by Montana artist, Chris Owen. It’s available as a giclee on paper, 18″H X 24″W, for $225, or on canvas, 24″H X 32″W, for $350. Artist Proofs are also available.

Have a great Monday, everyone!

Bruce Greene, "Under the Indian Blanket"Nothing much cuter than a baby calf! Here’s “Under the Indian Blanket” by Bruce Greene. This little thing is available in a number of sizes, on paper or canvas, open or limited edition. For example, the signed, open edition giclee on canvas, 9″H X 12″W, is $75. Contact me if you’re interested, 575-649-0636, or send me an email at vickie@reatagallery.com. Have a great weekend, everyone!

Sheri Greves-Neilson, "Herefords"Ha! This looks like the way I felt in traffic last week around Scottsdale and Phoenix! Just a tad crowded up for me, at least on weekdays! Can anyone else relate?

This is “Herefords” by Sheri Greves-Neilson, a limited edition print that measures 6.5″H X 17″W; the price is $50. I love this shape of print, and think it would look great with a rich, old-timey frame. This reminds me of the old Herefords that ran on the Reata in the movie, “Giant.” Have I mentioned that it’s one of my favorite movies?

Hope everyone made it through Monday ok! For your enjoyment, here is “The Main Herd” by Wayne Baize. It measures 16″H X 19″W and retails for $95.00. The original was included in the group of artwork submitted to the Cowboy Artists of America in 1995, when Wayne was invited to join the group, a very prestigious event for any cowboy artist. If anyone is interested in purchasing the original itself, please contact me.
